The Water Grill restaurants are a bustling, culinary and design focused enterprise in Southern California catering to patrons looking for an exquisite experience. The architectural team had to develop a blueprint that included heated outdoor patios that could be fully integrated into the ceilings and in wall mounted areas where a recess application was not optional.
Challenges
The bold design and high ceilings within the establishment required radiant heaters that were effective from high mounting applications but could be safely integrated into the ceilings. The designs required heaters to be positioned effectively but also integrate with other lighting, sprinkler, fan, and speakers within area. Complimenting the existing decor was essential when selecting a suitable heating product.

Solution
Heating Solutions USA worked collectively with the architect and MEP engineers and selected our Solaira ICR Series heaters in RAL9002 black finish with matching trim kits that are CSA/UL approved for recessed applications. The team created an evenly distributed heating plan with multiple zones and independent Solaira Omnis variable controls that allowed the restaurant management team to adjust the heater output and match ambient temperatures.
